VEXED BRAIN is a boutique pedal builder from Omaha, Nebraska. All pedals are designed and handmade by one person.  These pedals cater to aggressive sounds and attitudes, low tunings and high expectations. 

Each pedal is custom made to order and requires a two week build time, but often is crafted sooner. 

All pedals I currently produce work with a standard Boss / 1 Spot style 2.1mm barrel, 9V negative tip, positive ring, DC power adapter. For best results, it is highly recommended that a power supply with individual isolated grounds is implemented.  Use of typical wall wart/daisy chain power are susceptible to unwanted noise.  While some choose to use 18V for some applications, any sort of power failure will void warranty.

WARRANTY INFORMATION

All pedals are warrantied for life for the original purchaser. Any sort of manufacturer problem will be repaired or replaced at the builder’s discretion. Within 30 days of delivery, return shipping will be covered by builder, after is the responsibility of the purchaser. Any pedal purchased second hand that requires repairs will require a $25 bench fee, cost of replacement parts, and shipping paid by new owner.

ENCLOSURE ART

Some pedals come stock with decorative badge. They are also available to have their art chemically etched at no extra charge. Some pedals come stock with etched enclosures. They are not available with badges. The process of etching contains many variables, so every single enclosure is different than the previous. Great care is taken to be consistent as possible for such a varying process.

CUSTOM WORK

I will sometimes take on custom work.
